The 1.9 Ford Escort intake seat and some exhaust seats appear to have a need for our patented T-Lock design.  As with the 2.3/2.6 Isuzu cylinder head, the common problem is with valve seat inserts falling out.    The O.D.'s have varied depending on the rebuilder.  The intake range is 1 9/16 - 1 5/8.  The exhaust range is 1 13/32 - 1 7/16.

The T-Lock design allows for secure fit on an otherwise high warranty cylinder head.  To install the T-Lock insert, use your standard driver followed up with an oversize driver to press the material over the insert for the secure fit.
