The Tucker Valve Seat was designed and developed for use in natural gas engines.  Due to the high combustion chamber temperatures in these engines, a better valve seat was needed.  Tucker made one.  Since that time Tucker Valve Seats have been used by some of the world's largest rebuilders of industrial engines.

Recently, due to the higher temperatures now common in anti-pollution engines, production rebuilders of passenger car engines have been forced to use higher quality seats.

• The Tucker Seat is a Tungsten Carbide Alloy material similar to the Tungsten Carbide used for cutting tools.
• The Tucker Seat will withstand extremely high combustion chamber temperatures common in natural gas, LP gas, diesel, and new anti-pollution automotive engines.
• The Tucker Seat has a similar expansion rate to cast iron, thus eliminating the possibility of the valve seat becoming loose.  The Tucker seat dissipates heat very rapidly and will withstand severe pounding.
• The Tucker Seat is tested and inspected many times during the production procedure to ensure the highest quality. 

The Tucker Warranty: Tucker Valve Seats are manufactured to the highest quality standards set by the Tucker Valve Seat Company.  Any insert not meeting these standards can be returned for replacement with prior written approval.  This therefore is the limit of our responsibility.
